Imagination worsen panic attacks at some point. The thoughts of something worse that is going to happen from a panic attack attack is simply a case of imagination and is not real. “This is happening again. I am getting worse”

“I have already used all the techniques and the panic attack is still happening”

“What if there’s really no permanent cure for this? Why am I bestowed upon such bad luck to have this while others don’t?”

These are negative thoughts that often comes to mind for many people who suffered from panic attacks. Keep in mind that this is common and many people do have these thoughts. You are not alone nor are you going crazy. It’s just human nature to think that way.

The bad news is that, when you allow yourself to dwell into these thoughts, it will disarm you little by little and makes you lose the energy and determination to heal yourself. Too much of the negativity will make you give up because it is so discouraging. Now that you know how negative thoughts can affect you, stay away from it.

People often complain that the feel out of conrol during such a horrible situation. There is nothing wrong with that. It is simply an effect of the negative thoughts that had weaken you that makes you feel more out of control. The way to counter this is to react differently and going the opposite way than how you normally would.

Instead of starting to feel terrified, remain calm and observe it. For example, when you feel the panic attack happening, quickly assure yourself tha you are in a safe place and you are protected. Be in control by commanding the fear inside you to be more instense. Tell your ehart to beat faster, the sensations to feel greater and your body to sweat more. Keep going towards its direction, than avoiding and running away from it.

The actual panic attack happens when you avoid it, and leave your control to your imaginations to take over. This time, you aren’t going to let it happen. You are consciously observing it and moving along with it as it levels up. You are consciously following it than to be terrified and lose your control.

You are actually being in control because you are consciously experiencing it. You are voluntarily moving towards it, going along with it in your own will will and control. By doing so, you are giving yourself the authority to direct the experience. Negative imagination worsen panic attacks but never losing your consciousness to the hands of your imaginations to dictate how you feel in the situation puts you in control of the situation. Though you may not be directing it the opposite way towards curing and you are simply going towards the panic attack’s direction, your state of consciousness makes you the boss of the situation.
